We critically need funds to continue to grow this greatly needed food bank and community outreach program. We are in desperate need of new and larger running refrigerator and freezer, more shelves to hold the food coming in, and an increase in our electricity capacity. We also have the desire to stipend the three main volunteers who oversee and assist YAS in the running of this program. The equipment and support resources will assist the 5000 + monthly who are in the need of basic resources; food being the most important.

YAS has already raised funds through the effort of many donors in our church and community to install the absolutely necessary refrigerators. We have also received many generous donations such as a van, website, school supplies, and toys for the holidays. We creatively enlist the help of the community when we work outside the local grocery stores to request donations. This has been very effective in collecting the food we need at our current level. We have grown through the work ethic of those in our church who volunteer their time, money, and creativity to make the community aware we are here to serve not in words but in action.
